It all started in 1990 at Kids Can Press, a children’s book publisher. There, I went from mastering the fine art of photocopying to becoming the company’s first managing editor although I never did escape the photocopier.
Since then, I’ve run a freelance business and had a couple more office gigs. I’ve worked on all kinds of content with all sorts of organizations. From conference collateral for a communications agency and career profiles for an environmental non-profit to a young-adult trilogy about a family of crows for a book publisher.
Whether they’re clients, colleagues or employers, people appreciate my editorial prowess, collaborative spirit and friendly, professional manner. To be just a tad cliché, I love what I do and it shows.
