I’ve written several pieces for ATB’s business squad, proofread its annual and sustainability reports and written and edited this financial institution’s internal guides for brand and voice, inclusive language and content development.
Pursuit Collection
Style guides give me life. So does food. So I was thrilled when Pursuit asked me to develop a guide for a menu system for its food and beverage businesses. I can’t show you that, internal document and all, but other Pursuit projects have allowed me to live vicariously in different ways. Who wants to go rafting on the Flathead?!
Energyphile
For this brainchild of respected energy economist Peter Tertzakian, I’ve written marketing communications, site copy, social posts and blog content. I began working with Peter when the project was just a glint in his eye, through to launch and beyond, eventually running the whole show. I’ve also conducted research for, edited and proofread Peter’s writing, including his book The Investor Visit and Other Stories and his columns for the Financial Post.

This executive search firm specializing in the golf and turfgrass industry in the United States has a multifaceted content marketing program that includes blog posts, emails and LinkedIn newsletters.

Dissolve
We had a lot of fun showing off the creative potential of stock footage and photography at Dissolve. As the content writer, I coordinated media relations for our many viral videos, including This Is a Generic Brand Video, and wrote all blog content, social posts and some saucy Mother’s Day memes. I also edited and proofread the work of Dissolve’s other writers, including marketing emails, direct mail pieces and videos.
Healing Minds Psychology
Registered psychologist Debra Johnson was ready to give her site an overhaul. She wanted the copy to have a warm, friendly voice while establishing her philosophy, expertise and experience.
McLeod Law
To commemorate its 40th anniversary, McLeod Law launched 40 Years, 40 Stories, celebrating 40 of its team members. Covalent Communications conducted all the interviews, and I wrote their stories.
