Pursuit’s mission is to connect people to iconic places through unforgettable, inspiring experiences. I've had the pleasure of travelling vicariously to these places through my writing and editing work on brochures and its annual sustainability report. I also developed the style guide for a menu system for Pursuit’s food and beverage operations.
For this brainchild of respected energy economist Peter Tertzakian, I’ve written marketing communications, site copy, social posts and blog content. I began working with Peter when the project was just a glint in his eye, through to launch and beyond, eventually running the whole show. I’ve also conducted research for, edited and proofread Peter’s writing, including his book The Investor Visit and Other Stories and his columns for the Financial Post.
SMS Equipment is a global leader for equipment distribution and one of the largest Komatsu dealers in the world. I work with the mining team, writing blog posts, news stories, articles and social posts.
As Benevity’s in-house editor, I was where the buck stopped, upholding the brand voice and ensuring editorial consistency and excellence. I worked with both its in-house and freelance writers, editing and proofreading everything the company put out, including emails, presentation decks, site copy, social media content, sales material and research reports.
I worked with MacEwan University’s School of Continuing Education on a series of blog posts to support its new roster of courses on AI.
Over the years, I’ve written, edited and/or proofread diverse content for ATB, western Canada’s largest financial institution: business articles, annual and sustainability reports, the inaugural Truth and Reconciliation Action Plan and style guides for brand and voice, inclusive language and Indigenous content.
